Why I'm here posting this work in less than 300 words.
I thought that I would try to somewhat show the process that I go through when creating work, this is why I included the sketches and mind maps from my sketchbooks initially. As you can see I have included a lot of visual studies relatively mainly because I believe drawing to be an integral part of expression and forming work that expresses your ideas. I feel that studying at your university will help me to continue experimenting with various media and exploring concepts as well as improving basic skills. I am very interested in the mind and my current work has moved towards sexual desire, this was due to the work that I have posted previously and I am currently working with video and other media that are new to me. This exploration and testing of materials is how I plan to move forward with ideas, away from perhaps traditional ‘safe’ mediums into new realms of possibility and reality. Philosophy and psychology are areas that hold key interests for me I am really inspired by ancient philosophers and how society has changed but the innate desires of humans are still the same, this greatly influences my work also.
